Herbert Breckenridge, 72, of 1209 West North Avenue, Pittsburgh, formerly of Beaver, died Sunday Sept 10, 1978 in Elmcrest Extended Care Facility, South Beaver Township. Born on Mar. 18, 1906 in Grandview, Ohio, son of the late John M. and Millie Givens Breckenridge, he resided in Beaver for 30 years, was a retired employee of Richmond Radiator Co., Monaca and a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Bridgewater.
Surviving are his widow, Virginia Rardin Breckenridge; two daughters, Miss Alma Breckenridge of Pittsburgh and Mrs. John(Elizabeth)Bell of Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Sam(June)Cascio, Beaver. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Linda Beightley in 1976.
Services will be conducted in the Batchelor Funeral Home, Monaca, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. By Rev. Charles Adams, pastor of the Rochester First Wesleyan Church. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.
