BUFFALO – M. L. (Lee) Sutton, 78, who resided with his sister, Mrs. Bessie Beal, Buffalo, died Sunday morning at Burge-Protestant Hospital in Springfield where he had been a patient five days. He died after a lingering illness.
Mr. Sutton, a retired farmer of the Dallas County community, is survived by another sister, Mrs. Myrtle Hastin, Upland, Calif.; a son, Gaius Sutton, Ridge Crest, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Miller, Riverside, Calif.; a brother, Doren Sutton, state of California; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Freewill Baptist Church here with the Rev. Frank Linton officiating.
