She married Walter Erd April 14, 1934, in Milwaukee, where they resided until 1961 when they moved to Tichigan. She was a homemaker, a member of Norway Lutheran Church, Wind Lake, and volunteered in many youth organizations.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Barb) Erd, John (Melody) Erd, daughters Karen (Don) Novak, Debbie (Brian) Behschlich; daughters-in-law, Marion "Windy" Erd and Rose Marie "Dusty" Brooks; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Russell.
Funeral services where July 21 at Norway Lutheran Church. The Rev. Chuck Brummond officiated. Private burial was in Norway Hill Cemetery, Wind Lake. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, handled arrangements.
