Interment will follow in the Okfuskee Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home from 9-8 P.M. Wednesday and the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M.

Floella (Bearpaw) McCune, a resident of Nuyaka,OK. went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 66.
Floella was born February 19, 1943 in Stilwell,OK to John & Flora Bearpaw. She met the love of her life, Steve McCune, and married Feb. 14, 1965 in Noel, MO.
From this union they raised four wonderful children. Floella and Steve moved to Okmulgee,OK. in 1973 and founded Aladdin Fence Co. This company is still operated by their son today.
Floella loved spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren and enjoying life.
Floella was a long -time resident of the Nuyaka community where she was a member of the Nuyaka Baptist Church. She was a life-time member of the Nuyaka Riding Club where she held office for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two sisters, Patricia Bearpaw and Theda Hunter. She is survived by her children, daughter, Tracy Kraus and husband, Jeff, their children, Kavan and Erin of Lee's Summit, MO.: daughter , Dana Crook and husband Tim, their daughters, Lindsay and Payton of Beggs; daughter, Tricia Skupien and husband, Frankie, their children, Austine, Jaden & Kadence of Nuyaka; son, Stephen Arik McCune and his son Stephen Ashtin of Nuyaka. Sisters , Lynn DeGarimore and husband, Gene of Broken Arrow; Jennie Brown of Tulsa, Carole Edwards of Stilwell, Beverly Gleghorn and husband Jim of Tulsa, Johnye Ruth Hammons and husband, Paul of Tulsa; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Stephen McCune, Jeff Kraus, Timm Crook, Frankie Skupien ,Gene Swarer, Tommy Shaw and Michael Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Kavan Kraus, Jaden Skupien, Stephen Ashtin McCune, Ned Allen, Mike Carlson, Bodie Roberts, Boog Roberts, Jimmy Shaw and Timmy Shaw.
