DEATH OF MRS. ANN PARKS.
Aged Mother of Mrs. L. A. Robinson, of Providence, Passes Away in Fort Mill, S. C. -- Was 83 Years of Age.
Mrs. Ann Oliver Parks, aged 83 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Boyd, in Fort Mill, S. C., yesterday morning after an illness of about two weeks. Three children survive her, Mesdames R. A. Miller, of Lowell; L. A. Robinson, of Providence and J. A. Boyd, of Fort Mill. Mrs. Parks was an aunt of Mr. John B. Ross, of this city, and also of Mrs. R. M. Miller, Jr., Mrs. L. D. Hargrave, Miss Eldora Ross and Mr. Baxter Ross. Mrs. Mary Matthews of Monroe, is a sister.
The funeral will take place in Fort Mill this morning. Mrs. Parks was the widow of the late Mr. H. L. Parks, of Providence township, and one of the best beloved and most estimable women in the county. She was a life-long member of the Providence Presbyterian church.
