Angel L. Showers, age 46 of Sheridan, WY died Monday, August 6, 2007, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.
Angel was born July 26, 1961, in Sheridan to Virgil "Tubby" & Rose (Vine) Badgett.
Angel grew up and attended schools in Sheridan. She married Ed Golson in 1980 and worked as a waitress at the Truck Stop and Bob & Donna Restaurant. They later divorced. Angel married Paul Showers in 1987. She was a waitress at Perkins and the Main Street Diner. They also divorced. She was working at the Trails End Restaurant currently. Angel enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles and reading the Bible.
Angel was preceded in death by her father.
Angel is survived by her sons Jeffrey Golson and David Showers both of Sheridan; daughters Melissa Long of Bellingham, WA and Christina Golson of Ranchester, WY; mother Rose Parsons of Sheridan; brother Kevin Badgett of Sheridan; sisters Rosie Sadler, Connie Deutsch, Sheila Badgett and Tammy Badgett all of Sheridan and five grandchildren.
Viewing will be 1:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday (Aug. 10th) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00am on Saturday from the Church of the Living God with Janell Ziegler officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
