Carlyle Leroy Cooper, 88, of the 1600 block of Lilac Ave., a retired machinist,
died Aug. 23, 1991, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Cooper was born in Pungo, N.C. He retired from Norfolk Naval Station and was
a member of Lindale Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Dunshee Cooper; a daughter, Elinor C. Pinegar
of Chesapeake; a son, Dean H. Cooper of Gloucester; three grandchildren; and
nine great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial
Park by the Rev. David Vaughan and the Rev. William Campbell. Friends may join
the family at 1519 Philmont Ave., Chesapeake. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk
Chapel, is handling arrangements.
