Mordecai "Mordie" was the son of Mordecai Widdifield I and Rachel HOBBS Widdifield. He was one of 4 children.

Mordecai "Mordie" Widdifield and Rosa Ellen Fales were married June 1, 1898 at the Lutheran Parsonage in Spencerville, Indiana. They are the parents of 2 children.

2 - Clarence Eugene Widdifield 1903-1965

Mordie was a real mixer with people but was very critical of everybody. He was a business man for a while but work was too confining for him. He was a Farmer and would rather starve to death than work for anyone else. Mordecai "Mordie" and Rosa Ellen Fales Widdifield had an Onion Farm near Auburn, Indiana about 1932 during the Great Depression. In politics he was a radical Republican. For pleasure he would play the mandolin and Rosa would play the piano at dances. He had pale blue eyes. Mordie died of Peritonitis.
