Mrs. Alice Victoria Ogle, 80, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 1978, at Hurst, Texas.

Services were held Friday, September 8, 1978, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Wheeler. Rev. Jerry Hogan, pastor, officiated at the services. Burial was in the Wheeler cemetery under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ogle was born August 4, 1898 in Alabama. She was married to Jim Ogle. She was a long time resident of Wheeler County and moved with her husband to Hurst a year ago.

Mrs. Ogle was a member of the Baptist Church and Wheeler Garden Club.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; three sons, Jim W. of Arlington, Robert of Richardson and Johnny of Hurst; four daughters, Mrs. Dora Carter, Mrs. Millie Foremen, Mrs. Betty Overcast - all of California and Mrs. Martha Whiteley of Bedford, Texas; two brothers, J.R. Stansell of Bowie, Texas and Wilson Stansell of Graham, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Hughes of Snyder, Texas, Mrs. Maggie Goodson of Floydada and Mrs. Mrs. Evelyn Syrus of Borger; twenty-three grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Gary Ogle, Bobby Robson, Jonathan Whiteley, Finis Wood, James Wood and Ross Wood.
