Mrs. M. B. Wilds (Vilena Carter) died at her home in Blair last Thursday at the age of sixty-nine years. She was born in Ohio and nearly thirty years ago moved to this county with her husband. Seven children were born to them, three boys and four girls, namely: Edward, James and Elmer; Mrs. W. Seeley, Fremont; Mrs. S. Leslie, Iowa; and Mrs. L. Peterson and Mrs. John Dulaney of Blair. Had the deceased lived until next month she would have been married forty-nine years. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon, Rev. S. C. Green officiating, and the remains were laid in the family lot in the Blair cemetery.
