CENTERVILLE. — John Henry McClurg, 67, of southeast of Exline, died at 5:55 a.m. today at his home following a long illness.
A native of Davis county, he w as born July 16, 1887, the son of George and Mary McClurg.
He and Edith Childs were married in 1909. She died in 1912. They had two children, both of whom died in infancy.
He w as married June 21, 1916, to Agnes Caster, who survives. Also surviving are six children, Mrs. Berthema Thomason of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Marjorie Mikels of Bloomfield, Mrs. Doris Pancrazio of Centerville, John McClurg Jr., of Moulton, Jack McClurg of Mystic, Robert McClurg of Exline; one sister Mrs. Jack Boyce of Pocatello, Idaho, and IO grandchildren.
In addition to his first family, he was preceded in death by a son, Clifton, at two years of age and three sisters and one brother.
The body is at the Johnson funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
