Pauline Herring went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 21, 2018, just 10 days before her 83 rd birthday. Pauline was born on December 31, 1935, in Albemarle County, she passed away at Charlottesville Health and Rehab Center. Pauline was born to the late Warrick Douglas Brown and Suzie J. McCauley Brown.
Pauline was preceded in death by four brothers, William Henry Brown, John M Brown, Harold E. " Herbert" Brown and Thomas Brown, one son Wayne Sprouse ; and three grandchildren, Montana Shifflett, Bobby Riddle, and Jimmy Riddle,
Pauline is survived by twelve children, Louise " Junior " Sprouse, Peggy Tucker, Brenda Knight, Diana Herring Shifflett, Linda S. McDaniel, Terry Herring, Jeff Herring, David Herring, Kenneth Herring, Carl Herring, Karen Herring, Brian Herring. Pauline leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild, one brother, Richard Brown, and three sisters, Nancy Sacra, Susan Cox, and Margaret Rogers.
We would like to thank Diana Shifflett for the caretaking for the last four years and her two sons Terry and Jeff Herring.
Pauline has requested no service, there will be a private interment at a late date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
