Hester Faye Brown, 71, of Van Buren died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in a local hospital. She was retired from Hickory Springs and a member of Rena Road Church of Christ. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. She is survived by a companion, Jim Cecil of Mountainburg; a daughter, Judy Hooper of Van Buren; a son, Rocky Brown of Van Buren; two sisters, Pauline Chronister of Central City and Lucille Graham of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Ray Parker of Van Buren; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Thomas Ames, Clyde Hooper, Randy Gabbard, Joey and Jeff Holcomb and Josh Russell.
