Relatives and friends from Union county, Milo, New Virginia, Des Moines, Osceola, Lucas and Woodburn were here Saturday to attend the funeral of Mrs. S. D. Marquis which was conducted at 11 o'clock at Bethel Chapel by Rev. N. D. Gordon of Indianola. The sorrowing husband and children have the sincere sympathy of this community in their bereavement.
