Mrs. Ida Gleason, 79, of 1724 S. Douglas Ave., died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital. She had been a resident of Springfield for 21 years.
Mrs. Gleason is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A.H. Forsyth, and Mrs. William Rogers [sic], both of Springfield; and Mrs. Harold Thompson, of Waukegan; three sons, Thomas Edward, of Petersburg; William Joseph, of Greenfield, and William M., of Springfield; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Remains were at the O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at the Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
