Dora Dean Jolley was born on February 15, 1872, north of Crawfordsville, the daughter of Hiram and Mazy Jolley. She married Mr. Risk December 8, 1898 and they were highly esteemed residents here for many years. Mr. Risk died February 28, 1932. Mrs. Risk was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving is an only child, J. Kirby Risk, of this city, and a niece, Mrs. Ralph Smith, of Detroit, who was formerly Dora Fidler of this city and who was reared by Mr. and Mrs. Risk. Also surviving are three brothers: Charles and Loyd Jolley of Lafayette, and John Jolley of Crawfordsville; and a sister, Jane Haggard, of Detroit.
