CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Hazel Dade Lynum, a native of Daphne who resided in Croton-on-Hudson, died Wednesday in New York. She was 77.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lynum and Edith Holloman of Peekskill, N.Y.; two sons, Julius Lynum of Eight Mile and Michael Lynum of Peekskill; two sisters, Claressia Hawthorne and Mary Armstead of Daphne; two brothers, Riley Dade of Daphne and Dr. Albert Wesley Dade of Reston, Va.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be today from noon to 5 p.m. at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. A second viewing will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Aid Missionary Baptist Church, U.S. 90 in Daphne, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services begin. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
