CHILLICOTHE - Ernst George Guy Legault, 63, of Chillicothe died at 9:49 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born May 5, 1941, in Wauconda to Ernst and Mary Jean Kovachevich Legault, he married Linda Long in November 1983. She died June 17, 1994.
He also was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Fred Traver.
Surviving are two brothers, Lance (and Theresa) Legault of Van Nuys, Calif., and Fred Traver of Washburn; and two sisters, Mary Rothe of Farmington and Kathy (and Dave) Monohon of Elkland, Mo.
A member of the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 536 in Peoria, he was a clerk at Kroger in Chillicothe. He previously worked for J.T. Fennell's in Chillicothe for many years.
He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8020.
He also was a member of the Peoria Casting Club.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at his church. The Rev. Glenn Harris will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, with a Scripture wake service at 5 p.m. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
