Gloria, of Groves, went to be with the Lord at Christus St. Mary Hospital.

Born to Wesley and Callie Weatherly, she was a graduate of Nederland High School and was a lifelong member of Memorial Baptist Church of Port Arthur.

Because helping others was her main passion, she served on numerous church committees and was involved in mission work at the Port Arthur Mission Center with Mildred McWorther.

She also held the title of W.M.U. president where she worked with Brother Peyton Moore of the Golden Triangle Baptist Association. They along with Memorial Baptist built Agape Baptist Church of Breckinridge, Colorado from the ground up. She was an active member of the Gideons Auxiliary, Thi Beta Kapa of Port Arthur, and the Woodmen of the World.

She also held the distinction of being one of the very first operators for Southwestern Bell in Nederland, Texas. She held that position for ten years, until leaving to raise her family.

She was survived by her loving husband of fifty seven years, Richard "Bill" Voight; her devoted daughter, Cindy Ann Voight; two grandchildren, Recie Nicole Voight Scott, and Randy Ray Voight; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her two loving sons, Richard Daniel Voight and Randy Ray Voight.

Funeral services at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Reverend Dale Vance and Reverend Jeremy Bradshaw officiating. Burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas.
