Charter Member Georgetown Church, Mrs. Hamby, Died - Mrs. Pearl Hamby died at 10 a.m. Monday in the home of a nephew. Maxie Emerson, Rt. 1, Pekin, Ind. She was the widow of Ed Hamby and formerly lived in Georgetown. She was a native of Washington County, Ky. Mrs. Hamby was the last surviving charter member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church, R. 3. Georgetown. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hamby will be at Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey until 10 a.m. Thursday when the body will be removed to Indian Creek Baptist Church to lie in state until time for services at 10:30 a m. Rev. Ben Moore, church pastor and Rev. Ivan Christoff, New Albany, will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery, Georgetown. Music will be furnished by the church choir with Mrs. Robert Love organist. Active casket bearers will be Lewis Shrewberry, Ollie Sanders, Claude Gibson, Carl Hermanson, J.P. Branham and William Southard. Honorary bearers will be E.R. Snow and John Emerson.
