DECATUR -- Neal C. Taylor, 75 of Decatur died 3:15 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 31. 1996) in his home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Bement Cemetery. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Visiting Nurses Association Hospice.
Mr. Taylor was born in Monticello on July 30, 1921, son of Marshall and Minnie Turner Taylor. He was a retired electrician and a veteran of World War II, receiving two bronze medals. Mr. Taylor married Nora Mingee and she preceded him in death in 1991.
He is survived by a son, Charles Taylor of Reno, Nev.; daughter, Patricia Ooton of Glendale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Mark and Neal Fortenberry; Steven, Dennis, Robert and James Taylor; sisters, Dorothy Seaton and Lucille Hudson, both of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.
