Viola W. Hamlin, 91, 400 River Drive, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at her home.

She was employed at Marathon Battery.

Survivors include on son, Elmer (Viola) Schleif, Schofield; two daughters, Irene Goetsch, Wausau, and Elaine (Edward) Leight, Madison; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman (Lila Mae) Pankow, Merrill; and three sisters, Florence Dohr and Sidonia Erbstosser, both of Illinois, and Elaine Gremler, Menomonee Falls.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, town of Pine River.
