He was a 1939 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney.
He was a farmer and rancher.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include one brother, Henry Deines of WaKeeney, KS.
Preceded in death by brothers, Oscar, Rudolph, Fred, Samuel, Hubert, Martin, Albert, Arthur and Luther.
Visitation will be Sunday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney. Services will be Monday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney; burial in Kansas Veterans Cemetery, WaKeeney.
