Lottie was the oldest child ,daughter of John Wesley and Sarah Isabelle (Perryman) Burris. Lottie married first Logan Burton b.1870 d.1910. They were married 16 Dec.1891 in Adair County Kentucky. Lottie was 16 and Logan was 21. Logan was the son of William Henry and Lou Burton. Together they were blessed with six children, Hattie Caffee b.1894, Bertie Burton b.1898, Gertie Burton b. 1901- 1918 only 17 a short young life. Della Mae 1906 -1934 such a sad loss. Lawrence Albert 1908 -2005 , there is also a Lurd Burton that comes up but I have not found any info on him, maybe he died as an infant.
2nd Lottie married John Beard 1884 - 1964. Married 01 April 1911 in Adair County Kentucky. John and Lottie spent their first few years in Campbellsville, Taylor Kentucky. Some where between 1930's to 1940's they moved to Indiana ,They made their home in Columbus, Bartholomew County Indiana. That is where she lived her life out. Lottie is my great Aunt, my Daddy's Aunt, I feel so privileged to have the honor to write her biography. I heard lots of stories about her sadly I only got to see her a few times but she was an outstanding Lady, a good and kind spirit. We lost a wonderful family member. I hope I have helped all her generations to come by putting all her information together . I know they are all in Heaven together. Rest in Peace Aunt Lottie we love you.
