SARCOXIE RITES TO BE THURSDAY
**Charles Sarcoxie, 70, 516 Mercedes, died at 6:20 a.m. in a local hospital following a lenghty illness. Sarcoxie was born August 1, 1896, in Indian Territory, Bartlesville, where he was reared and received his education. He became a barber and has barbered for over 40 years in this area, retiring six years ago due to ill health.
**He was married Aug. 4, 1947 to Hazel Stout in Van Buren, Ark. They established their home in Bartleville where they hav since lived.
**Sarcoxie served in the United States Army during World War I and World War II. He was a former member of the American Legion James H. Teel Post No. 105.
**Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Turusday in the Keeley-Neekamp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph[?] Dersham, pastor of the Virginia Ave Baptist Church officiating. Intement will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Keeley-Neekamp Funeral Home.

**Sarcoxie is survived by his wife Hazel, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Leona Shipley, city, Mrs. Bonnie Ford and Mrs. Betty Barnes, both of Ochelata, Okla.; one step-son Bobbie Stout, San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Willie Sarcoxie and Henry Sarcoxie, both of Bartlesville; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Infield, city, and Mary Sarcoxie, Stockton, Calif. Services and interment under the direction of the Keely-Neekamp Funeral Home.
