Funeral for the Rev. Edward B. Branch, 68, of 5708 Estes, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Berean Baptist Church with graveside services at 4 p.m. at Granbury Cemetery in Granbury.
He died Thursday in a hospital.
The Rev. Mr. Branch, a native of Granbury, spent several years in Arkansas and Louisiana as a home missionary and pastored churches in Hillsdale, Okla., and Lake Charles, La. He recently celebrated his 27th anniversary as pastor of the Berean Baptist church, which he organized.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Newman of Fort worth; his mother, Mrs. E. W. Branch; and three grandchildren.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Berean Friends of Israel, Berean Baptist church.
