Hugh Creelman was born in Camus, Londonderry, Ireland on February 19, *1824. His father's name was James Creelman. I have the 1846 marriage license where he married Ann Brewster at Ballylagin Meeting House, Mocasquin, Londenderry, Ireland. The were engaged in the textile business. They came to Pennsylvania by the 1850 census and on to Ft. Madison, Iowa. Two daughters were Martha and Eliza. Hugh's death cert says he died of a carbuncle on the neck. He was living in Norman with his granddaughter at the time of his death.
