Mr. Leon Boshers, age 88, a resident of Morningside Lane in Columbia, passed away on Thursday, October 11, in Maury Regional Hospital

Funeral services for Mr. Boshers will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Terry Peery officiating. Burial will follow in the West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.

The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Huey Gray Boshers and Lena Gibson Boshers. He was the husband of the late Gladys Fitzgerald Boshers. Mr. Boshers was retired from the City of Columbia as a truck driver and was a farmer before working for the city. He was an Army veteran of WW II and a member of the West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son: Douglas Norma ?Cookie? Boshers of Columbia; one granddaughter: Robyn Boshers of Chicago, IL. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Boshers was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Tim Potts, David Potts, Terry Potts, Claude Fitzgerald, Ricky Fitzgerald and Paul Binkley. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Fitzgerald, J.W. Hargrove, Dr. Daryl Rinehart, Dr. James Richardson and members of the West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church
