BERGER – Juanita L., 93, Salix, went to be with the Lord, June 30, 2023.
Born October 8, 1929, in Dunlo, daughter of Altis L. and Edith (Halliwell) Harbaugh.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles R. Berger, who died January 3, 1997; sons, Michael and Charles Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sheila (Clark); and sisters, Clara J. Custer and Deloris Berkebile.
Survived by son Daniel, married to Stephanie (Novotny); grandchildren, Shannon, Heather, Justin (Bethany), and Tyler; great grandchildren, Aaron, Austin, Brittany, Mason, and Senna; and great great granddaughter, Sierra; sisters, Margaret Makin and Bernice Badowsky; and brother, Mike (Joyce).
Juanita was known for her beautiful crochet work and cherished spending time with family. A graduate of Richland High School, class of 1948, she attended service at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship and enjoyed playing bingo and visiting friends at the Senior Center.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Reverend Jim Gay presiding.
Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Geistown.
