Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Dot Biddix of Marion; two brothers, E. M. Davis and Chester Davis both of Marion; a sister, Mamie Chapman of Black Mountain; 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Ellison and Wallace Biddix; two daughters, Helen Matthews and Willina Haynes; and two sons, Willard D. Biddix and Boyce Biddix.
The funeral service was held at Westmoreland Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Calvin Lonon officiated and burial followed in Cross Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 18, 2000 at Westmoreland Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association WNC Chapter 3 Louisiana Avenue Asheville, NC 28806-3419.
