Daniel Gelina(s) took the surname 'Geno'. (East Berlin or Hoover Cemetery transcription shows the surname spelled as 'Gend' instead of Geno.)

The birth date of April 10, 1812 (LISTED BY THE CEMETERY), was probably calculated from original record in the database, "Michigan, Deaths, 1867-1897", per FamilySearch.org - 80y, 2mo, 3d.

Church Records of Détroit, L`Assomption de Sandwich de Windsor, Michigan show Daniel as the son of Joseph Gelina & Cecila Delisle at his BAPTISM on May 16, 1814. His date of birth in the baptismal record was described as occurring the day before yesterday or "né de avant hier".

Daniel Geno married first Adelaide Riopel(le) in 1836. Children of this marriage include Marcelline, Daniel, Edward, Elizabeth, Angelica and Emilie, and Esther.

On January 25, 1850 in Algonac, St. Clair, Michigan, widower Daniel 'Jena' married his second wife, Angeline/Archange Roberts. The 1850 Census of Casco, St Clair, Michigan lists three of Daniel and Adelaide's children: Daniel, Elizabeth and Emily 'Tennis'- along with their father and step-mother, Archange.

Daniel's third marriage in 1853 was to a widow, Marie-Catherine Martin Kiffer. Children of this union include Charles, James, Joseph, Mary Ann and Edward.

On May 25, 2018, I found my translation of the baptismal date would be May 16, 1914 instead of May 13, 1914 and I've made the correction.
