AMOS CUSTER, WELL KNOWN FARMER, DIED AT ADVANCED AGE.

Sharon Telegraph:

After an illness from a complication of diseases, Amos Custer, 85 years one of the oldest and best known farmers of the eastern portion of Trumbull county, died at the family home, Weldon, Friday Evening about 8:30 o'clock, says the Sharon Telegraph.

In the death of Mr. Custer this section sees the passing away of one of the foremost tillers of the soil who has resided in the immediate locality throughout his entire life. Mr. Custer was born at Brookfield, OH, and came from a family of high standing. He was a worthy member of the Baptist church. Left to survive are his wife and the following children: Scott, Byron, Frank and James of Youngstown; Mrs. James Berry of Bucyrus, Mr. I. F. Carr of Alliance; and Mrs. Edward Phillips, of Sharon.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday afternoon, at 3:00. Interment will follow at Brookfield.
