William Arthur Plummer, 63, of 5416 S. Quarterline Road, Fruitport Township, longtime employee at the Naph-Sol Refinery, died unexpectedly when stricken at his home Saturday evening. Born January 19, 1899 in Woolsey, GA he spent his entire early years there and came to Muskegon in 1923. Mr. Plummer was employed at the Naph-Sol Refinery 26 years as an operator in the cracking plant. He was married December 23, 1961 to Mrs. Jacquette Moore. Mr. Plummer was a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles Aerie, Loyal Order of Moose No. 999, the Hungarian Workingman's Aid Association, and Dads of Foreign Service Veterans Lodge No 21.

He leaves his wife; one son Harold Plummer of Griffin, GA; two daughters, Mrs Viola Head of Griffin, GA and Mrs. Hazel Hudgins of Clearwater, Fla; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Banks of Atlanta, Ga, Mrs Mary Brown and Mrs Addie Lou Hand both of Brooks, Ga, and six grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mr. William A Plummer will be held at the Lee Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev Robert Reynhout, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Mr Plummer will be laid to rest in Mona View. Friends may call at the Lee Funeral Home.
