Mr. Leonard H. Plummer, 65 years, entered into rest yesterday afternoon at Hackley Hospital. Mr. Plummer was born March 26, 1923 in Woolsey, Georgia and had been a Muskegon area resident for the past 63 years. On December 18, 1941 he married the former Dorothy 'Dottie' Anderson. During WWII he had served with the 14th Armored Division in the US Army. Mr. Plummer had been employed as a pipefitter for Brunswick Corp for many years.
His survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David A. (Laura) Ranville of Charlotte, MI; a son, Mr Leonard S. 'Scott' (wife Kim) Plummer of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Stacey Lynn, Jennifer Lee, Leonard Scott Plummer II, Megan Walker Ranville and Jason Sumner Ranville.
The funeral rites will be Wednesday afternoon, 2:00 o'clock in the Garden Chapel of the Acterhoff Mortuary.
