Mrs. C.F. Edsall, 69 years old, of the Union Soldiers' home passed away Friday night. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W.T. Reynolds in the Watts & McAtee chapel, 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial in Rosehill cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C.G. Pafford, Oklahoma City, one son, C.W. Edsall, Ada, Okla.; one step-daughter, M___ O__ Cobb, Arapaho, Okla.; two step-sons, H.H. and J.W. Stephens, Custer City, Okla.; thirty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edsall was the wife of the late William H. Edsall, Srgt. Maj. in the Missouri Cavalry of the Civil war. She was a pioneer school teacher in Kansas and Indian Territory. Taught the first school in Augusta, Kan., and taught in Pryor Creek, I.T. in the 70's. Served as postmistress at Whites Boro, Texas. Afterwards had a hotel at Arapaho. Had been a resident in Oklahoma City for __ years.
