Mrs. Kite was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and United Lutheran Church, Women.
Born Nov. 12, 1886, in Williamsport, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Nancy Jarvis Blackwell. Mrs. Kite was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Kite, and one son, Aldo Kite.
Survivors include two sons, Sylvester T. Kite and Samuel A. Kite, both of Stuarts Draft; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Weaver, Route 1, Waynesboro; two brothers, Herbert Blackwell and Clarence Blackwell, both of Lafayette, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Horn, Mrs. Lee Robertson and Mrs. Ray Ross, all of Lafayette, Ind. and Mrs. Sallie Brooks, Attica, Ind.; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home and will be placed in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. Thursday where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Robert L. Hock. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Homer Fultz, Roscoe Miller, Roy Matheny, Luther Frank, A. J. Shiflet, Gordon Breuer, Elwood Shiflet, and Hugh Copper.
Honorary bearers will be Gideon Kiblinger, Roy Sensabaugh, John Showalter, Lee Zirkle, Roy Bush, Roland (Jack) Pulley, Charles P. Coiner, Roller Eavers, W. F. Coyner Jr., C. R. Forbes, Ward L. Cohron, C. A. Marks, Everett Chittum, B. G. Fitzgerald, Paul Hollinger, Russell Matheny and Frank Harris.
