MRS. STEWART CROWE
Mrs. Louvina Bertell Crowe, 69, widow of the late Henry Stewart Crowe, died at her home in Avilton, Monday, December 1st at 1:30 a.m.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Church, New Germany.
Mrs. Crowe was a daughter of Israel and Mary Wiland Duckworth, of New Germany.
Surviving are the following children: Samuel, Lee, Edgar, Harvey, Mrs. Leonard Wilhelm and Mrs. Earl Garlitz, of Avilton; Mrs. Julius Wilhelm, of Long Stretch, Route 40. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. William Logeston, Lonaconing; one brother, Henry Duckworth, Lonaconing; twenty-four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of the Methodist Church officiated and interment was in the Mt. Beulah United Methodist, Twin Churches, Garrett Co., MD.
