McMinnville resident and Warren County native Hervie Jeffery Romans, 53, died May 7.

A CNA nurse's tech with A+ Staffing and a veteran, he was the son of Lucille Romans of McMinnville and the late W.O. Romans.

He is survived by daughter, Tabitha Meeks of Coalmont; son, Alex Romans of McMinnville; sister, Lisa Morton of McMinnville; brothers, Bobby and Mickey Romans, both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Casey and Emily Meeks, both of Coalmont; brother-in-law, Jeff Morton of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Ann and Connie Romans, both of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Wednesday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Hunt officiating. Burial followed at Smyrna Cemetery with military graveside rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.

Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
