Mrs. Ethel Edmondson Flowers
Funeral Services

Funeral services for Mrs. Flowers will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Evelyn Methodist Church with burial following in Sardis Cemetery. Reverends Joe Porterfield, John Walker, and Bennie Robinson will officiate.
Mrs. Flowers was born September 29,1909 in Colquitt County and had resided here all her life. She was the daughter of the late James D. and Dillie Gay Edmondson, pioneer Colquitt County settlers.
Mrs. Flowers was a member of Wesley Southern United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Enos Flowers and Leon Flowers both of Moultrie; one brother, Dalton Edmondson of Moultrie; four grandchildren, Darrell Flowers, Sue Kilgore, Carol Kilgore and Cade Hanson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Flowers' body will lie in state at the family residence until placed in the church one hour before the funeral.

Mrs. Flowers died from injuries in a motor vehicle accident. Sadly her sister, Miss Mabel Edmondson did not survive the accident. She was 69 years old. Miss Mabel was a retired school teacher.
