"Here is the obituary from the SWTIMES for Mrs. Jack
Funeral of Mrs. Jack to Be Held Thursday Funeral service for Mrs. Mary E. Jack, 1802 Poplar street, who died at 10 a.m., Wednesday in a Fort Smith hospital, will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m., at the Ocker Funeral chapel. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery. Dr. W. B. Miller will officiate at the service, assisted by Rev. V.F. Harris. Mrs. Jack had been ill a week. She is survived by her husband, Walter Frank Jack; two daughters, Mrs. August Meier Jr., Fort Smith, and Mrs. Forrest Diehl, Van Buren; two sons, Foster, of the home, and Frank Jr., Van Buren; two brothers, George and Dan Shoop, Van Buren and seven grandchildren."
All census records indicate 1881 is the correct year of her birth.
