Eva Blanche Landess

Knob Noster--Mrs. Eva Blanche Landess, 84, Knob Noster died Sunday moring at the home of a son, Collins Landess, Grandview, MO., who survives.

Mrs. Landess had been staying at the home of her son during her illness the past two months.

She was born June 20 1885 in Beloit, Kan., the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Drinkwater) Applegate. In 1907 she was married to Scott Landess in Knob Noster and he proceded her in death May 22, 1952. Three sisters also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Landess was a member of the Dunksburg Christian Church, northeast of Knob Noster.

Also surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Lininger, Grandview and one great grandchild.

Services will be at 2p.m. tomorrow at the Holdren Funeral Home, Knob Noster. Burial will be in Knob Noster Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral.
