JOHN CLINTON CHISELY
MATHEWS- John Clinton Chisely, 68, of Cobbs Creek, a retired farmer, passed away in Johnston-Willis Hospital on Wednesday, March 27.
Mr. Chisely was the son of the late Anne Rebecca and John Robert Chisely. He is survived by several cousins.
A funeral service was held at the Foster Funeral Home, Blakes, on Friday, March 29, at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Jarvis Hearn, pastor of Spring Hill Baptist Church assisted by the Rev. J. W. Simmons.
Interment was made in the Chisely family cemetery near Dixie.
Pallbearers were Ervin Fitchett, Curtis Fitchett, Robert Fitchett, A. N. Reihm, Marvin Matthews, and Martin Collins.
