Mr. Taylor was a native of McRae but lived in Milledgeville most of his life before moving to Adrian. He was a retired employee of Central State Hospital and was preceded in death by his former wife Verna Kinney Taylor and a brother Nathaniel Taylor. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Nell Sapp Taylor of Adrian, one daughter Kaye Bush (Donnie) of Adrian, five sisters: Monteen Whitney of Burlington, Wis., Christine Phillips of Greensboro, SC, Helen O'Neal, and Linda Hooks both of Milledgeville, Ouida Taylor of Greenville, SC.
