Hungate.
Celia Hainline, daughter of Jesse and America Hainline, was born in McDonough Co. Aug. 6, 1854, and died at the family home 3 miles southwest of Blandinsville July 3, 1912, aged 57 years, 10 months and 27 days.
She was married to Albert Hungate Oct. 17, 1872. To this union was [sic] born four children, Walter of Maxwell, Ia.; Harmon who died in infancy, Mrs. Elmer Moss of Blandinsville [township] and Shelby at home. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband and children, one sister, Mrs. Lucinda Burford, of Colchester, Ill[.], and three brothers, Charles of Hire township, Jesse Hainline of Vernal, Utah and Thomas Hainline of Iowa.
She united with the Christian church at Central, Ill. [the Central Christian church in the southwest part of Hire Township] in 1890 and lived a consistent christian life[.]
She was a good daughter, a good wife and a good mother and to know her was to love her[.] She leaves friends to mourn her loss. Our loss is her eternal gain.
Funeral services were held at Central [the Central Christian church in the southwest part of Hire Township] Friday July 5 Rev. Branic officiating assisted by Rev. Sherman. Interment in Central cemetery.
