Services for Tullie Roy Barwick, 82, of Soperton, will be conducted in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 A.M. Saturday with the Rev. Nolon McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Soperton.

Mr. Barwick was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was a son of the late Henry and Quillie Sammons Barwick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Brantley Davis Barwick. He was retired from Behlen Tate Company, East Dublin. He was a Baptist and an avid gardener. He died Wednesday.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Menzo and Betty Davis of Jacksonville, Fla., Melvin and Jerry Davis of East Dublin; his daughter and son-in-law, Lizzie Jane and Eugene Hester of Soperton; his sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Truitt Coleman of East Dublin; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Braddy, Danny Shepherd, George Claxton, Sonny Barwick, Charlie Reese and Jordan Shurling . The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 P.M. Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton is in charge of arrangements.
