Carolyn Sue Schiermeyer August 9, 1948-April 27, 2009 Sue went to be with her Lord on April 27, 2009. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1948. Sue graduated from Hirshi High School in 1966. She married Robert L. Schiermeyer in January 1971. Sue worked at University School in Norman, Oklahoma, then eventually settled in Edmond, Oklahoma. Sue obtained an Associate's Degree in Business. Their son, Robert A. Schiermeyer, was born in 1973. Sue worked for the State of Oklahoma for 28 years including the Oklahoma Military Department and OSBI. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Trula New her sister, Shasta New and father-in-law, Vern Schiermeyer. She is survived by her husband, Bob Schiermeyer her son, Robb Schiermeyer and wife Caroline her grandchildren, Madeline and Annalise her sister, Kathy Yoder and husband Paul also Mary Ellen Schiermeyer, Stacey and Kirk Stites and Spenser and Bob and Juanita Goins. Memorial services for Sue will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with a private family interment to follow. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma.
