Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Milliken, 83, Shallotte, will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from the graveside of the Gurganious cemetery at Shallotte. Mrs. Milliken, wife of the late R. E. Milliken, died Saturday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Raleigh Phelps, Shallotte; two sons, Lundy Milliken, Shallotte, and Bruce Milliken, Myrtle Beach, S. C.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Rose Phillips, Mrs. Richard Pickett and Mrs. Bamon Milligan, all of Shallotte, Mrs. Genevea Grice, Lumberton, Mrs. Kate Smith and Mrs. Lottie Jones, both of Ash; six brothers, George, Jim and Dan Carlisle, all of Ash, Ben of Greenville, Arthur and Robert Carlisle, both of Whiteville.
