Lemmon --- Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Rosebud Lutheran Church for Willie Ludwig Seim, who died in a hospital here Saturday. The Rev. Jerry Erickson officiated.


Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of the Evanson Funeral Home.


Survivors include one sister, Clara Seim, Fargo, N.D.; four sons; four daughters; 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife and one son.


Seim, a pioneer settler in Perkins County, was born Feb. 5, 1883, at Celia, Neb. In 1887 he moved with his parents from Celia to Capitol, Mont., an din 1893 came to Perkins County to settle on the Grand River.


The community of Seim, one of the first established in Perkins County, was named after his father, Hans Seim.


He married Blanche Becker Sept. 19, 1910 in Meadow. He attended schools in Seim and Spearfish.
