CSA. Son of William Cliborne and Sarah "Sallie" Hite. His father was an American Revolutionary War soldier. Married 3 times, first to Nancy Winifred Hite, second to Minervia Jane Hite and third to Drusilla Hite. Father to 17 children.

The cemetery is located on the old family farm just off Wilkerson Rd at Skipwith, Mecklenburg County, VA. The cemetery is in the woods just off a pasture, the farm is now owned by the Propst Family. It is well kept and maintained with easy access in the woods, is looked after by Cliborne descendants. A ceremony was held there by the Sons of Confederate Veterans and a CSA stone is there as well as the double stone for James and Drusilla.
