Hattie Mae McGrone, 61, of Shaw died on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Baptist Church in Cleveland with the Rev. Dennis Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Northwest Shaw Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Friday, with family hour from 6-7 p.m., at Byas Funeral Home in Cleveland.
She is survived by mother, Maggie Bell McGrone of Shaw; husband, Bobbie Jones of Milwaukee; four sons, William McGrone of Shaw, Ernest McGrone of Hinesville, Ga., Jerry McGrone of Ft. Hood, Texas, and Quinton Jones of Cleveland; three daughters, Bobbie Spann, Kanedra Jones and Helen Jones, all of Shaw; five brothers, Joe McGrone and Robert McGrone, both of Indianola, Willie McGrone of Shaw, James McGrone of Laurel and Henry Davis of the Mississippi Gulf Coast; five sisters, Annie Pearl Perry of Shaw, Connie Caston of Memphis, Tenn., Mary Nathaniel of Cleveland and Doris Thomas and Thelma Lee, both of Toledo, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
